🚀 Job Summary

PSS, a leader in electronic payment processing in Ethiopia, is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to manage its multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure. You will be responsible for building highly available, high-performance network systems that power ATMs, POS, e-commerce, and mobile banking channels while ensuring strict compliance with PCI DSS and other global security standards.

📝 Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design: Execute the setup, installation, and integration of diverse networks to meet business requirements and security standards.

• Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor network security protocols, ensuring all systems are compliant with PCI DSS standards.

• Performance Management: Conduct network performance metrics and implement reporting systems to meet customer expectations.

• Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and monitor network support activities within established SLAs/OLAs.

• Disaster Recovery: Lead infrastructure capacity planning, configuration backups, archiving, and business continuity procedures.

• System Maintenance: Oversee upgrades, migrations, and maintenance of network systems; research and develop new infrastructure technologies.

• Leadership: Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to junior employees within the unit.

• Incident Response: Attend to system malfunctions, interruptions, or quality reductions at any moment to ensure 24/7 reliability.

🎓 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in network administration and infrastructure management.

• Certifications:

  • Training in Cisco CCNA / CCNA Security or equivalent is required.

  • Relevant industry certifications are a distinct advantage.

• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in network design, Internet protocols, network security, and infrastructure integration.

• Core Competencies: Strong technical proficiency, adaptability, and complex problem-solving skills.
