Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ERP Odoo and web site Development Team Lead to oversee the design, development, customization, and deployment of Odoo ERP solutions and web site. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, collaborate with product owners, designers, functional consultants and stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery of scalable ERP implementations and web site aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of Website and Odoo developers.
Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules (Community/Enterprise).
Review code, enforce development standards, and ensure best practices.
Architect scalable and maintainable Odoo solutions and Website.
Manage module versioning, deployments, and upgrades.
Project & Delivery Management
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
Estimate development efforts and manage sprint planning.
Ensure timely and quality delivery of Website and ERP projects.
Handle production issues and provide L2/L3 support.
Development & Integration
Develop and maintain Odoo modules and API integrations.
Contribute to multi stack projects: Flutter, React Native, MERN, Django, Swift, PHP, Android, and related technologies/
Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Collaborate with product, design, and other departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Support system stability, performance, and technical best practices across projects.
Mentor junior team members and help develop their skills and productivity.
Developcustom Odoo modules using Python.
Customize Odoo views using XML, QWeb.
Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs.
Work with PostgreSQL database optimization.
Integrate Odoo with third-party systems (CRM, payment gateways, eCommerce, logistics, etc.).
Quality & Governance
Conduct code reviews and maintain documentation.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Ensure system security, performance optimization, and scalability.
Maintain testing standards (unit testing, automated testing).
About You
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Technical Skills
5+ years of relevant experience in Odoo development.
Strong expertise in Python and Odoo framework.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of Odoo ORM, workflows, security, and access controls.
Experience with JavaScript, XML, QWeb, OWL framework.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
Experience with Git version control.
Familiarity with Docker and cloud deployments is a plus.
Leadership Skills
Proven experience leading development teams (5+ members).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
