Spark Trading PLC is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role combines technical accounting and tax compliance with active cash management and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

I. Financial & Tax Accounting

Tax Reporting: Reporting all payments using electronic tax systems (MOR-TASS and MOR E-TAX Services).
ERCA Declarations: Timely declaration of Withholding payments, Pension, and Income Tax to ERCA.
Detailed Reporting: Inserting and declaring detailed Sales, Purchase, and Service reports to ERCA.
Voucher Management: Processing and posting Petty Cash Payment Vouchers (PCPV), Check Payment Vouchers (CPV), and Goods Receiving Vouchers (GRV).
Receivables: Posting Withholding Receivables and preparing Per-diem (allowance) payments.
II. Cashier & Sales Operations

Invoicing: Creating invoices and scanning items accurately for all sales transactions.
Cash Control: Balancing the cash register and generating daily reports for both credit and debit sales.
Banking: Depositing cash and checks into company bank accounts and posting Cash Receipt Vouchers (CRV).
Order Handling: Managing order flows and ensuring prices and quantities.
III. Customer & Transaction Management

Payment Collection: Collecting and processing payments directly from clients.
Customer Relations: Checking transactions with customers and dealing with inquiries pleasantly to ensure total satisfaction.
Administrative Support: Performing other tasks as ordered by the immediate supervisor.
About You
Job Requirements

Education:BSc Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
Industry Backgraound: Previous experience working in sales and production companies is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and proficiency in electronic filing systems (ERCA).
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills for professional customer interaction and a high level of integrity in cash handling.
