About the Job
Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS) software.

Maintain all database instances, ensuring their availability, performance, and reliability.
●
Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
●
Implement and maintain security measures to protect database integrity and confidentiality.
●
Monitor user access to the database, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data.
●
Perform regular security audits and updates.
●
Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies for all databases.
●
Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures.
●
Respond quickly and restore databases in the event of data loss or corruption.
●
Plan and execute data migrations between systems, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
●
Integrate databases with other IT systems and applications as required.
●
Ensure that all data migrations and integrations are thoroughly tested before going live.
●
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all database environments, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
●
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, data integrity problems, and access issues.
●
Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and network engineers.
About You
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of study with a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of study with a minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience.
