Job Summary

The Marketing and Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase market share, drive sales, and enhance brand visibility. This role involves managing marketing campaigns, overseeing sales teams, and building strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.

Plan, organize, direct and coordinate the local sales operations of the Company. Develop goals and objectives of the Department to align with the vision and mission of the Company. Develop and implement department strategy for improving key performance indicators of the Company’s local sales operations. Manage the sales team and all sales activities within the company. Motivating staff and leading the team to achieve sales targets. Interviewing and selecting new members of the sales team. Carry out sales training with sales executives and role-playing sales techniques. Ensuring all administration for sales is completed effectively. Set sales targets and activity key performance indicators. Develop and implement effective monitoring and evaluation tools to review sales activities and to improve accountability and overall performance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Strategy Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
Helping determines pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Marketing Management:

Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and trade shows.

Manage the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and content for social media and the company website.
Oversee market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions and improve campaign effectiveness.
Sales Management:

Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals and performance expectations.

Meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners.
Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Customer Relationship Management:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously enhance service and product offerings.
Understanding and promoting company programs.
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
Budget and Resource Management:

Manage the marketing and sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Track and analyze financial performance, including ROI on marketing activities and sales efforts.
Collaboration:

Work closely with the product development team to align marketing and sales strategies with product offerings.

Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of plans.
Perform other related operational duties of the Department as required.
About You
Education and Related Work Experience

 

Education and Work Experience

First degree in Marketing Management / Sales Management/ Management/ Economics/ and 7 years relevant Experience out of which 2 years in a managerial position (s).
Proven experience in marketing and sales management, preferably within the Furniture sector.
