About the Job

Rama Tech PLC is hiring 12 energetic Sales & Marketing Officers to drive the growth of our cloud-based School Management Software. This unique role combines traditional door-to-door field sales with modern digital marketing. You will target private schools, engaging directly with owners and administrators to revolutionize their educational management through technology.


Key Responsibilities

1. Field Sales & Direct Outreach

  • School Visits: Conduct door-to-door field visits to schools to meet with principals, owners, and administrators.

  • Product Demos: Present software demonstrations and effectively close sales deals to meet monthly targets.

  • Lead Management: Identify potential school clients and follow up diligently with existing prospects.

2. Digital & Social Media Marketing

  • Content Creation: Create, post, and promote engaging content across various social media platforms.

  • Video Promotion: Record short promotional videos featuring yourself to humanize and market the brand online.

  • Digital Engagement: Utilize social media and mobile marketing tools to reach a wider audience of educators.

3. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Feedback Loop: Collect direct market feedback from schools and report insights to management.

  • Independent Work: Manage your schedule and targets independently while staying highly motivated.


About You

1. Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or First Degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or related fields.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in sales or marketing (field sales experience is a distinct advantage).

  • Communication: Strong English skills are required; fluency in Amharic is a must.

2. Technical & Creative Skills

  • Digital Marketing: Strong understanding of targeting through visual communications and mobile marketing.

  • IT Knowledge: Basic understanding of software products and digital tools.

  • Creativity: Ability to build lasting relationships and create unique promotional content.

3. Critical Mindset

  • Field-Ready: Must be comfortable with regular door-to-door sales visits and willing to travel outside Addis Ababa.

  • Confident: Comfortable appearing on camera for promotional content.
