Purpose of the Assignment

GAIN Ethiopia is seeking a qualified Consultant to support its mission of transforming local food systems, tackling malnutrition, and promoting healthy, safe food production and processing. The selected consultant will work within tailored programmatic frameworks to provide technical, financial, or policy insights that leverage localized, evidence-based approaches rather than “one-size-fits-all” models.

About You

Key Requirements & Eligibility

Core Competency: Proven capabilities in professional consultancy, technical assessment, or program design within food systems, public health, nutrition, or international development sectors.
Experience Level: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience handling technical evaluations, baseline surveys, or program frameworks for civil society organizations, international NGOs, or government agencies.
Strategic Approach: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across alliances (governments, local businesses, and civil society) and utilize clear evidence of impact to influence broader stakeholder actions.

Submission Checklist

2.Separate Technical & Financial Data:

Draft your technical strategy and your operational budget. Seal them into two separate, individual inner envelopes, marking each accurately.

3.Package and Label the Outer Cover:

Place both sealed envelopes inside a single outer envelope. Address it clearly to the GAIN Ethiopia Office with the explicit project name written on the front.

4.Execute Physical Hand-Delivery:

Walk the consolidated packet into the Bole office before the final desk closure on July 22nd, 2026.
